| Certain Windows simply don’t need to be covered with an operable treatment. Second story windows for example usually need glare and heat control, but not the complications of a working blind or shade. In those special situations use our SheerWeave interior screen frames instead. The frame, made of steel, will be made custom to fit your window or skylight. Typically the frame will attach to your window with velcrow strips which means of course that it can be removed easily anytime. The frames are available in White, Bronze and Aluminum.
This frame is equipped with Phifer SheerWeave Style 2000 fabric. Style 2000 has an average openness of 5%, which, is superb for windows that are exposed to extreme heat yet when some view is needed. Style 2000 is made of vinyl coated fiberglass yarns in a full basketweave designed expressly for those applications, which require a more opaque and non-directional fabric. SheerWeave sun control fabrics offer an exciting new alternative to ordinary window coverings. They add beauty and elegance to compliment the interior décor while enhancing the quality of light at the window. SheerWeave’s unique light filtering qualities help reduce the fading of drapes, carpets and other interior furnishings, while continuing to offer a view to the outside. ShearWeave filters out heat and glare, while allowing natural light to enter. Unlike many fabrics, SheerWeave fabrics allow outward visibility, even when closed. Current production time for this product is 10 to 12 business days. |
