Description

Use this shade in any room with high sun exposure when privacy is not required.

Inspired by the latest home decorating trends, this shade is a modern take on classic window treatments. Solar shades help manage the sun’s heat, glare and UV rays while maintaining the outward view. There are several style fabrics that offer a wide range of opacity levels. Beautiful fabric selections ranging from light and dark colored solids to fashionable jacquard weaves. Fabric openness ranges from 3 – 14%. Tighter weaves provide greater sun control but as the weave becomes tighter the vision through the fabric is reduced.

This shade has Wicker Style fabric. It is 7% open which means that it has 93% UV blockage. The fabric content is 67% Vinyl on Polyester, 26% polyester and 7% Olefin. Wicker fabric is 98” wide. Wicker shades wider than 98” will be rail - roaded and some sizes may require a seam.

This shade is equipped with a continuous loop chain operating system. The color coordinated beaded chain and clutch make raising and lowering the shade easy. The chain remains at the same length, regardless of shade position. There are three clutch sizes depending on the shade size. The clutch has a brake which enables the roller shade to hold any desired position precisely and maintain that height with zero slippage. A safety chain guide is included to prevent the chain from becoming a strangulation hazard. Please specify left or right chain location.

As standard the shade does not come with a valance but if you prefer the look of a valance there are two types available as an option – a square cornered valance and a cassette valance. See the valance options below and click on the red question mark for descriptions.

Light Weaves solar shades are virtually maintenance free. Only periodic vacuuming and an occasional cleaning using a mild detergent, soft brushing and thorough rinsing is required.

Special Note: the width of the shade with the hardware attached to the ends of the roller tube is called the “tip to tip” measurement. Please be aware that the fabric cannot be and will not be as wide as the “tip to tip” measurement. This is true for all roller shades. On inside mount Graber Light Weaves shades with continuous loop controls there is approximately 7/8” light gap on each side. On inside mount Graber Light Weaves cordless shades there is approximately 11/16” light gap on each side. While we normally prefer inside mount, when possible for all window coverings, with roller shades outside mount provides optimal light and glare control.
