Please note the photo above. The side and sill channels are 2 1/2" wide. There are felt membarnes which attach to the inside of the channels so when the shade is rolled down the fabric slides into the felt membranes which virtually prevents light from entering from around the sides and bottom of the roller shade. Our Home Theater/Media Room/Lab Black-Out Side and Sill systems are ideal for home theaters, laboratories, media rooms and other rooms where light and glare are undesirable. Our Primo roller shade is required to use with this product. Near total black-out can be achieved by using the Primo roller shade with Black-Out Fabrics and our Side and Sill Channels around the sides of the window encasement and window sill to eliminate light leakage. A standard fascia and back plate are required to stop light from entering at the top of the window. The Side and Sill System is designed for inside and outside mounted roller shades. The side and sill channels are available in white, bronze and aluminum. THIS SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR USE ONLY WITH OUR PRIMO ROLLEASE ROLLER SHADES.
