Inspired by the latest home decorating trends, this shade is a modern take on classic window treatments. Solar shades help manage the suns heat, glare and UV rays while maintaining the outward view. There are several style fabrics that offer a wide range of opacity levels. Beautiful fabric selections ranging from light and dark colored solids to fashionable jacquard weaves. Fabric openness ranges from 3 14%. Tighter weaves provide greater sun control but as the weave becomes tighter the vision through the fabric is reduced. This shade has Bamboo Style fabric which is a print. It is 10% open which means that it has 90% UV blockage. The fabric content is 75% PVC and 25% polyester. Bamboo fabric is 98 wide. Bamboo shades wider than 98 will be rail - roaded and some sizes may require a seam. This shade is equipped with the cordless system. Cordless has a sleek look with no chains or cords the perfect safety solution for homes with children and pets. Simply press down on the tassel or hem bar and the shade automatically rises and it automatically slows as it nears the top. Of course you can place the shade in any position you want and the brake prevents the shade from lowering. The shade always raises and lowers quietly due to a unique double brake system. Each Light Weaves cordless shade comes with color coordinated tassels to facilitate easy operation so you dont have to touch the fabric, keeping it cleaner. As standard, the shade does not come with a valance but if you prefer the look of a valance there are two types available as an option a square cornered valance and a cassette valance. Only periodic vacuuming and an occasional cleaning using a mild detergent, soft brushing and thorough rinsing is required. Special Note: the width of the shade with the hardware attached to the ends of the roller tube is called the tip to tip measurement. Please be aware that the fabric cannot be and will not be as wide as the tip to tip measurement. This is true for all roller shades. On inside mount Graber Light Weaves cordless shades there is approximately 11/16 light gap on each side. While we normally prefer inside mount whenever possible for all window coverings, with roller shades outside mount provides optimal light and glare control.
