The distinctive fabric of Comfortex Acoustics® “Soft Touch” Double Honeycomb Cellular Shades offers the same insulating and light filtering benefits as Symphony® but with a textural twist. The softness of Acoustics makes for rich window accents in contemporary, touchable colors. Acoustic cellular fabric is soft to the touch, but durable for a lifetime. Also known as honeycomb construction, the double cell acts as an insulator that can aid in keeping homes more comfortable year round while reducing energy costs. Acoustics fabric provides R Value: 3.3. The Acoustics fabric is easy to care for. Regular dusting with a feather duster or vacuum cleaner brush is recommended. Most stains can be blotted with a damp sponge and mild detergent. For problem stains, the shade can be removed from the installation brackets and soaked in warm water. When damp, raise shade tightly to recrisp pleats. Before using anything stronger than mild detergent and lukewarm water, test an unobtrusive corner of the shade. Break Through Cord Connector for Child Safety Comfortex Acoustics Shades feature the exclusive Break Through Cord Connector. Designed to break apart if a child or pet becomes entangled in the pull cord, the Breakthrough Cord Connector meets all American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) standards. This shade has standard controls but, as an option, you can select Omni-Rise/Soomthy Continuos Cord Loop. Please note that shades wider than 96" will be built as 2 shades on 1 head rail.
